About me:
I am a UC Berkeley Master in Design alumni living in San Francisco since 2021.
I am originally from Argentina, where I studied industrial design at the University of Buenos Aires, the best Latin American University (18th worldwide). While studying for my undergrad, I was a full-time senior designer in the furniture business. I designed Indonesian-style furniture, and wood carvings with a CNC-Router machine. After 4 years, I decided I wanted to work in something more meaningful and impactful, and I started working in the Argentine government as a designer. I designed and launched a digital platform to inform and create awareness among young people about taboo topics sexuality, gender violence, addictions, etc. I was promoted to Program Manager, leading a cross-functional team of 23 diverse people. I was invited by UNESCO as a featured speaker to talk about the program’s good practices at an international symposium — such an honor!
Art in several ways has always been part of my life. I studied theatre and I developed, directed, and acted in a theater performance that was a satire of the political corruption in Latin America. I love digital illustrations and painting with acrylics.
I love spending time with my family Fran, my husband and Hector, our furry friend. Hiking and visiting new places is one of our favorite activities.
